Terms of Use

Last updated July 11, 2026

These terms govern your use of sightfield.co, the public website of Sightfield, Inc. (“Sightfield”, “we”, “us”), based in Dublin, Ohio, USA. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Use of the Sightfield Maps and Sightfield Go applications — including creating an account, publishing maps, or subscribing to a paid plan — is governed by the separate agreements presented inside those products, not by these website terms.

Use of the site

You may browse the site, read the blog, and view published maps for any lawful purpose. You agree not to disrupt the site’s operation, probe or circumvent its security, scrape it at abusive volume, or use it to transmit anything unlawful — including through the contact form.

Our content

The site’s design, text, graphics, and the Sightfield name, logo, and marks belong to Sightfield, Inc. or its licensors. You may not use them to suggest affiliation or endorsement without our written permission. Blog posts may be quoted with attribution and a link.

Published maps and third-party content

Public share pages on this site display maps created and published by Sightfield Maps customers. That content belongs to its publishers, and we do not review or endorse it. If you believe a published map infringes your rights or violates the law, email info@sightfield.co and we will review it. Photography on share pages may come from Unsplash and is credited to its photographers.

The site also links to and embeds content from other services. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Disclaimer

The site and everything on it are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy of place information shown on maps. Places close, move, and change hours; verify anything you depend on.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sightfield will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves. The current version is always at this address, with the date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
